kaqwiⱡȼi was built with a practice of translating words and stories in the Ktunaxa Language to movement. The process gave Samantha a chance to deepen her understanding with Ktunaxa by embodying its sounds, words and history. Throughout the work we follow stories told by Samantha’s Elders, and her own journey of what it has been like learning her language.
